Collection Notice

The SafetyLine Hub comprises of various work health and safety programs and initiatives overseen by WorkSafe, Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS). To provide the services offered through the SafetyLine Hub, we may request personal information from you and, in some instances, limited details about your organisation.

How we collect your personal information

We primarily collect your information directly when you provide it to us voluntarily. For example, you might register to attend an event or enrol in learning activities. Occasionally, someone else may provide your information on your behalf. For instance, a colleague could register your name for group participation in an event.

Impact of not providing your personal information

If you choose not to provide the required personal information, you may not be able to access the full range of service we offer. Without this information, we may be unable to register you for events, enrol you in training programs, or deliver other services that are contingent upon your personal details. Consequently, this may limit your ability to fully participate in or benefit from our initiatives and programs.

We use your personal information for various purposes that enables your access to online learning platforms and digital resources. This information aids in monitoring and improving our digital products and services, managing enrolment, and generating completion reports.

Additionally, your data may be shared with third parties such as a Learning Management System (LMS) hosting provider who assist in distributing educational content. We may also use or disclose your personal information for investigations, as required or authorised by law, or when you have consented to such use and disclosure.
