Safe Work Month

October is an opportunity to highlight the importance of workplace health and safety.

National Safe Work Month is held in October each year and encourages PCBUs and workers to promote health and safety in the workplace.

To coincide with the national campaign, WorkSafe focuses on health and safety through a series of events and resources.

What's happened in SWM 2024?

The 2024 theme, 'Health and safety is everybody's business’, introduces resources on musculoskeletal disorders, agricultural safety, and a live theatre performance that explores successful safety leadership during a real-life mine slip.
