WorkSafe Petroleum Safety and Dangerous Goods human factors industry forum 2023

Human factors are an integral component of safe and reliable operations within major hazard facility (MHF), petroleum, geothermal and energy operations. To assist MHF, petroleum, geothermal and energy operators, industry speakers will be sharing practical case studies and lessons learnt which demonstrate how human factors have been integrated into the safety management systems of their operations.

This is the second Human Factors forum to be hosted by WorkSafe following the success of the 2021 forum which was well received by industry attendees.

With insightful talks from industry speakers, practical case studies, and opportunities to connect, this event is not to be missed.

  • analysing process safety incidents
  • transporting dangerous goods
  • designing of plant and equipment
  • WorkSafe’s Human Factors Industry Baseline project

Process safety managers and health and safety managers of registered petroleum and geothermal operations and major hazard facility operators are encouraged to attend.
